I’ve used Fusion since it was in beta and tend to still lean toward it for recommendation to others. As a Mac user they aren’t going to want to reboot into Windows to run this app and then reboot back. They are using a Mac because they like macOS and maybe even need it to run other software throughout their day. I would personally avoid Boot Camp. It isn’t supported on newer Apple Silicon Macs anyways. If this isn’t a Mac your company owns or controls you might not be able to dictate the ultimate solution.
